Small Business Saturday and what it means to us.

Today is the day we celebrate all the movers and shakers who have committed themselves to running successful Small Business. Many (including our family) will head to their local small brick and mortar shops, and I do highly encourage that!! It's such a great feeling to shop and know that you're making a real impact on a family's livelihood versus hitting up the big box stores where a CEO and shareholders make a pretty penny on a weekend like this and don't pass that along to their hourly employees. I realize for some there aren't many small, local options available, but for those who CAN shop small this weekend (and all year round), I highly recommend it!
