BabyFest CA Cloth Diaper Package Giveaway

One of my favorite events to do every year is BabyFest in the San Diego CA area. Babies in Bloom is a wonderful small retailer and birth center that operates in CA. They have an incredible staff and love to educate their customers about cloth diapering. For their yearly event I will be there representing our MakeClothMainstream IRL booth and helping answer all the questions about cloth diapering that the families may have who attend.

At this event I'll be bringing with me products from the brands who are helping make this possible:

AppleCheeks Cloth Diapers, Molly's Suds, Lalabye Baby, Thirsties Baby, Bambino Mio, Spray Pal, and Osocozy Cloth Diapers.

There is an at home giveaway you can enter with products from those generous brands that you can enter (find that at the bottom of this post)

If you're in the San Diego area I hope you can join me at this event and if you can be sure to bring your cloth curious friend who is expecting to let them take part! I will also be presenting a "Getting Started with Cloth Diapers" session at 12 PM.

The Schedule of Events:

10:00 am – BabyFest begins – all exhibitor booths open!

11:00-11:30 am – “Babywearing Basics” – Babywearing is beneficial for both you and your child for many reasons – including bonding, convenience and safety. Join Ali & Karen, our certified babywearing educators, to learn about the different types of carriers and which might be a good fit for your family.

12:00-12:45 pm – “Getting Started With Cloth Diapers” – Join Jennifer Aprea from Spray Pal, get your cloth diapering questions answered and learn how to #makeclothmainstream

1:00-1:45 pm – “Meet the Midwives” – Did you know that you can have a midwife attended birth at home, in a birth center or in a hospital? Meet local midwives and find out how they can help you have the birth your desire, wherever you want.

2:00-2:30 pm – “Car Seat Basics” – A car seat is one of the best ways you can protect your child while traveling, but searching for the right one isn’t an easy task. Katie, our CPST, will share some great information and answer your questions.

3:00-3:45 pm – “GroovaRoo” – Geared for those new to Babywearing Dance. We’ll do fun, easy dances with an emphasis on creating a safe, sacred and soulful dance experience for you and your baby!

4:00 pm – BabyFest closes; drawing of all raffle prize winners (do not need to be present to win)

This year's event is totally FREE so just show up and have a wonderful time!

  3. I currently cloth baby #3 part-time. I started when she was around 5 months (the first few months were just way too hectic for me to tackle cloth), and she's currently 10.5 months. I clothed baby #1 from 22 months until she potty trained at 3.5, and started baby #2 around 2-3 months--but her bum didn't like cloth so we didn't use them as much with her. I went entirely to sposies around age 3, I think (she also potty trained at 3.5).
